In a significant move to resolve administrative discrepancies, the Ondo State Governor, Dr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has announced that candidates affected by irregularities in the 2025 State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) recruitment exercise will have their appointments formally regularized.

?The Governor provided this assurance on Friday during the May Day celebrations at the Gani Fawehinmi Arcade in Akure. Addressing a crowd of workers and stakeholders, Governor Aiyedatiwa acknowledged the plight of applicants who fell victim to "fake employment letters" or were left out of the system's official capture during last year's primary school recruitment drive.

?Correcting the Anomaly
?Governor Aiyedatiwa emphasized that his administration is committed to fairness and ensuring that no qualified candidate is sidelined due to systemic errors.

?"We have heard the complaints regarding the irregularities in the SUBEB recruitment. Our government is dedicated to addressing these anomalies to ensure that those affected are properly integrated into the states workforce," the Governor stated.

?Following the Governors directive, the Permanent Secretary of SUBEB has issued an immediate call to action for all concerned individuals, instructing all to report to the office on Monday for commencement of the process.

?This move is expected to provide much-needed relief to hundreds of teaching prospects whose careers were put on hold by the recruitment flaws. The state government has urged all affected persons to report promptly with their relevant documents.
